Why did they have to go and change the House dvd packaging???
Pics of my (Canadian?) packaging... 
I can deal with the slim cases...but the box is bigger than the other two seasons... =(

Hi again! NOW I see exactly what you mean. Since we both think alike in this matter I have to say that I would try to sell it to your friend (don't point out the size difference) ;) and get the U.S. version on your next visit. You know it's going to bug you to no end and since the discs are really brand new I'm sure your friend won't mind. Good luck! :)

you have me all scared now. I haven;t gotten it yet because it's a bad month for me and bills:P but man, if they all look that way I'm quite annoyed.
Silk Stalkings did that, every season is different sized, dammit the first season was six discs and they they started going down and double siding them.
I'm so glad L&C and Friends were consistent. Yay WB for that.

no idea! i just wish i had known prior to buying that it wans't like that in the states...i would have *gasp* waited to buy them...
but i've already opened the cellophane and can't return in :(
i might be able to pawn them off on a friend who wants the set and may not be as anal as me though...that would make me happy

Bummer, that sort of thing drives me absolutely batty. I'm still trying to figure out how to "fix" the fact that my Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets movie is full screen and all of my others are wide screen. (Mother-in-law didn't know the difference and I didn't notice until too late. Damn cellophane.) :)

my friend Marc bought me goblet of fire for my birthday but full screen and i was like "dude seriously?? it's gotta be wide screen!" and he was like "meh there's not a big difference...but now that he has a wide screen tv he understands :P
he didn't keep the bill though, so now i have two copies of the film.

Omg you guys get slim cases! I love those! My BSG and Firefly sets have the cases too. I hate hate hate the new set, the red is ugly and i've always hated the cover because the cardboard is too thin. And there are no pictures on the discs =(
